*A Cheerful School Comedy: Even the Student Council Has Flaws* introduces us to the hilariously mundane days of the most unpredictable and eccentric student council members in the history of Japanese animation. At the center of the story is a freshman who dreamed of a quiet school life but accidentally found himself surrounded by a group made up entirely of oddballs, eccentric geniuses, and outright slackers. The council president constantly neglects important duties in favor of video games, the secretary battles with extreme shyness, and the treasurer would sell his soul for additional club funding. Day after day, the crew must resolve numerous quirky problems, organize cultural festivals, quell rowdy delinquents, and conceal their own absurd blunders from strict teachers. The series is packed with heartfelt, wholesome humor, comedic misunderstandings, and many cozy vignettes of typical teenage life, where every small annoyance balloons into a monumental crisis. The animators have crafted a wonderfully warm and relaxed atmosphere, enriched by vivid colors and a superb soundtrack. This is an ideal watch for anyone wanting to escape the gray monotony of everyday life, revisit their golden school years, and laugh at the absurd situations these charming and irresistibly likable characters constantly find themselves in.
